Malaysiakini with malware?

We have just reported a malware host for thestar.com.my. In less than a week, we have detected another famous website malaysiakini.com is prompting for malware alert with Google Chrome.
Attached is our two screen shots at 17/Sept/2010, 14:16 from Google Chrome.
I think something needs to be done to secure or when putting banner or link exchange. We do support Malaysiakini but hope it will better manage its online content and links.
TheStar newspaper spreading malware?

The star newspaper, one of the most popular english newspaper in Malaysia.
Today as off 15/9/2010 5:48PM (GMT +8), we received an warning from Google as I am using Google Chrome for browsing.

I think they will need to be more careful for such and check their content from time to time.
Widisearch (A fake Google Search)

We found something funny today. Why would a page so identical to Google Search? Is there a replicate or Google going for a secondary page? We can’t do that normally because all the link working and redirected back to Google.
Following is the screenshot we have captured. Just couldn’t think of a reason.

Streamyx – How to view blocked website

A lot of website has been blocked due to this and that reason. To support freedom on the Internet, you can always use the OpenDNS to replace the existing TMNet DNS which has been doing some filtering.
It is not very technical or difficult when using OpenDNS. I have found a very useful resources and you could do your setting based on the instruction.
Just go to https://store.opendns.com/setup/computer/ and select your operating system. You can follow the GUI and do the setting accordingly. After that, you will have much faster access.
How to unblock Streamyx BT P2P PPS

Streamyx already start to block BT, P2P and causes a software called PPS to have low download speed. Though, there is still some ways to overcome or we says “unblock” Streamyx BT, P2P ,PPS.
All we required to “unblock” “Screamyx” Blockage to BT P2P and PPS is by downloading and installing a software called “Hotspot Shield”.
Below is the step to do:
1. Download “Hotspot Shield” and install.
2. If you are using PPS, refresh the programmes list. If you are using a BT software such as Bitcomet or Thuder, you need to do nothing.
